This was my entry into the "Just Flowers" competition 2016 by the Arts Council of Surrey. I designed the composition using the old adage, a rose, is a rose, is a rose. It can represent a beautiful flower accented by raindrops from a light shower or the beautiful image of a young woman whose name could be Rose. I created the composition in PhotoShop using overlapping images and adjusting the transparency of the woman to imply a unifying connection reflected in the beauty of each subject.
