This painting is about the importance of sending love and gratitude to the Creator for the gifts we receive. In this portrayal a Haida woman in traditional costume is extending an offering of salmon to the Raven. In Haida legends the Raven represents the Creator. For me the Raven and the Eagle are spirit messengers from my higher self, and direct connections to the Creator.
